Determination of Installed Capacity of STATCOM Considering Negative Sequence Compensation

  • 摘要: 以唐山某变电站STATCOM工程为背景, 研究负序补偿时STATCOM的经济补偿容量。首先介绍了STATCOM负序补偿原理, 提出了负序不完全补偿的思路, 然后考虑成本与容量的正比关系, 对负序不完全补偿的经济性进行定量分析, 得知成本与需要达到的不平衡度ε成线性关系, 即对于一个确定的系统补偿设备每增加一个单位成本的投入对不平衡度的改善效果相同, 补偿负序时不必考虑单位成本的效益问题。最后基于背景工程进行了PSCAD/EMTDC仿真, 结果表明本文提出的STATCOM安装容量确定方法合理有效。

     

    Abstract: Taking a STATCOM (Static Compensator) project of a substation in Tangshan as example, the economic STATCOM capacity under negative sequence compensation is studied in this paper. The principle of negative sequence compensation by using of STATCOM is briefly introduced firstly, and the idea of negative sequence undercompensation is presented. In addition, proportional relationship between cost and capacity is considered, and quantitative analysis of the economy under negative sequence undercompensation is carried out, from which the linear relationship between cost and required unbalanced degree ε is obtained. In the end, the simulation is carried out by PSCAD/EMTDC tool based on background project. Results Show that the proposed method for determining installed capacity of STATCOM is rational and effective.
