Study on Reliability Evaluation Method for VSC MTDC Transmission System

  • 摘要: 通过对基于电压源型换流器的多端直流输电(VSC MTDC)系统进行子系统划分,根据状态空间法提出了一种适用于VSC MTDC系统可靠性评估的等效模型,该模型避免了由于元件众多而出现的维数灾,减少了计算量;还可以计算除稳态概率以外的可靠性指标,如故障频率指标、持续时间指标等。五端直流输电系统的可靠性计算结果证明了本方法正确性和有效性。对系统各设备的参数灵敏度进行分析以找出系统薄弱环节,结果表明连接海陆之间的海底电缆和海上电压源型换流器是影响系统可靠性的重要环节。

     

    Abstract: Through the subsystems division of multi terminal HVDC(MTDC) system based on voltage source converter(VSC), a kind of equivalent model for accessing the reliability evaluation of the VSC MTDC transmission system is presented based on state space method, which can avoid the dimension disaster due to lots of components, then reduce the amount of calculation. In addition, the reliability index can also be calculated besides the steady state probability, such as the failure frequency index, duration time index. The reliability calculation results of 5 terminal VSC MTDC transmission system verify the correctness and effectiveness of this method. The weak link can be found through parameter sensitivity analysis of system equipments, and results show that the submarine cables between offshore and onshore and the offshore converters are the important elements that influence system reliability.
