Abstract: To solve the problem caused by CIM models in different versions among different systems, a self adapting mechanism of model versions is proposed in this paper, which means a self adapting service is placed in ESB to extract model differences and to achieve the transformation of models in different versions. If model in new version is added to the electric power enterprise service bus(ESB), it is only needed to add corresponding laws in self adapting service with no modification on export and import models. The actual applications proved that the mechanism can meet the requirements of transformation of models in different version.
