500kV林枫直流输电系统双极闭锁案例分析

Case Study on Bipolar Blocking of 500kV Linfeng HVDC Transmission System

  • 摘要: 换相失败是高压直流输电系统常见的故障之一,可导致直流换流阀寿命缩短及逆变侧弱交流系统过电压等不良后果,严重情况下可能引发直流闭锁等。本文以2013年8月19日500kV林枫直流系统枫泾站因换相失败保护动作导致直流双极闭锁为案例,通过对换相失败保护配置及保护动作过程的详尽分析,总结本次故障深层次原因,提出改进措施并验证其可行性。最后,针对电网运行实际提出了相关建议,为直流输电工程的工程设计及运行管理提供参考。

     

    Abstract: Commutation failure is one of the most common faults in high-voltage direct current (HVDC) transmission system, which will shorten life span of the converter valves and cause over-voltage of weak AC system at inverter-side, and it will also result in HVDC blocking fault and other serious problems in severe conditions. The bipolar blocking of 500 kV Linfeng HVDC system caused by continuous commutation failures on August 19 2013 is described as a case here. Through detail discussing the protection configuration in commutation failure and the protection action process of this fault, the deep reason of this fault is summarized, and recommendations and improvements are put forward, whose feasibility is verified. In the end, the related suggestions for real operation of power grid are presented, which provides reference for project design and operation management for HVDC project.
