Optimizing Operation of Integrated Electrical and Gas Network with Power-to-gas Process

  • 摘要: 面对可再生能源发电的间歇性问题,电转气(Power-to-Gas,P2G)技术可将短期过剩电能转化为气体燃料,利用现有天然气网络进行储存、传输和再利用,为可再生能源的大规模消纳提供新的方式。另一方面,P2G技术的应用可引导电力系统和天然气系统的进一步融合,推动安全经济、清洁高效的未来能源体系的建立。本文针对含P2G过程的电-气互联系统,在综合考虑系统运行的能量流平衡、能量转换限制及天然气管网储气要求等约束的基础上,以提高可再生能源利用和系统运行经济性为目标,提出了含P2G过程的电-气系统联合运行优化模型。通过算例研究,验证了所提模型的有效性,分析了P2G过程对电-气系统联合运行的影响,并展示了其在提升系统可再生能源消纳方面的潜力。

     

    Abstract: Because the power output of renewable sources is intermittent, Power-to-Gas(P2G) technology is used to convert short-term excess electrical energy into gas fuel, which can be stored, transported, and reutilized through existing natural gas network, and is regarded as new way to absorb large-scale renewable energy. On the other hand, application of P2G technology may lead to further integrating power system and natural gas network, and promote establishing futurereliable, clean, economic, and efficient energy system. In this paper, by comprehensively considering such constraints as power flow balance of system operation, the limitation of energy conversion and the requirements of storage capacity of natural gas pipelines, the optimized operation of integrated electrical and gas network with P2G processis proposed with the objective of improving the utilization of renewable energy and the economics of system operation. In the end, a case study is carried out to validate the proposed model, and the impact of P2G process on the operation of integrated power-gas system is analyzed, which shows its potential on improving the absorptive ability of renewable energy.
