Abstract:
Integrated energy system (IES) is an important content in the reform of energy system and implementing unified planning and scheduling of multi-regional IES can further improve both its economy and environmental-friendly performance. In allusion to the capacity planning and operation of IES, a two-stage optimization method for multi-region IES was proposed. The first stage optimization was a multi-objective planning problem and its purpose was to make both economic cost and environmental cost minimized; the second-stage optimization was an operating problem to determine the optimal operating scheme of the energy system. The proposed method was verified by calculation example in which the results from multi-regional IES were compared with the results from independent planning. Simulation results show that the joint planning of multi-regional IES is more economical and practical.
