Collaborative Optimization Strategy of Energy and Auxiliary Services with Independent Energy Storage Participating Under the Spot Market

  • In allusion to the lack of efficiency and cost-effectiveness operation of independent energy storage power stations at present, a strategy for collaborative work between the electricity energy market and the auxiliary service market with energy storage participating was proposed. Firstly, the period of energy storage participation in the electricity energy market was determined by the spot market electricity price, and the electricity energy market and auxiliary service market were coordinated in the remaining periods. Secondly, taking maximizing the benefits of energy storage power stations as an object, the dynamic programming method was used to construct a multi-time scale collaborative optimization mode for energy storage participation in spot electricity power and frequency regulation markets. Finally, through simulation analysis, the revenue and output of energy storage power plants under the conditions of independent energy storage only participating in a separate market and joint optimization were compared to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed strategy
