Real-Time Coordinated Control Strategy for New Energy and Thermal Power That Takes Into Account Spot Transactions

  • In view of the real-time coordination and control problem between new energy power stations and thermal power when they participate in the trading at the present stage, the real-time active power control strategy for new energy containing multiple types of market transactions is proposed. The strategy can effectively improve regulation accuracy and power fairness of new energy power stations. Firstly, the paper puts forward the comprehensive assessment index of power stations, and establishes the objective function of the maximum approved spot application for active power. Secondly, the constraints of the coordinated control optimization of new energy and conventional power supply are analyzed. On the basis of identifying conventional units’ operational state, the negative reserve is solved to optimize the upper limit of new energy output. At last, the two-stage model considering spot trading and medium and long-term planning is proposed to improve the regulatory accuracy and operational economy of the grid under the transaction involving multiple types of electricity when new energy stations participate in cross-regional spot trading.
