Coordinated Planning of Electricity-gas Integrated Distribution

  • With the development of gas turbines and power-to-gas technologies, the coupling of power and gas distribution network is gradually deepened, while demand side response can improve system economy and security by peak-load shifting. Based on the background, this paper proposed a coordinated planning method for power-gas integrated distribution network considering demand side response. Firstly, on the basis of analysis and modeling of demand side response, the mixed integer nonlinear planning optimization model considering distribution lines, pipelines and equipment was established to minimize the sum of investment, maintenance, transaction and compensation cost. Then, the piecewise incremental linearization and auxiliary variable method were adopted to transform it into a mixed integer linear optimization problem, which could be solved by CPLEX. Finally, the results of a 12-bus with 10-node power-gas distribution network planning indicate that, the demand side response can improve system economy by reducing equipment capacity requirements and energy costs.
