Operation Optimization of Lighting Systems with Fully Distributed Energy Storages

  • In allusion to the problem of energy efficiency optimization of lighting system, a fully distributed energy storage lighting system, which combined energy storage equipment with lamps and lanterns, was proposed, and the optimization scheduling of the proposed system was researched. An energy model of fully distributed energy storage lighting system was constructed and an iteration-based line loss computation model was emphatically researched. Under the TOU policy, taking the charging-discharging power of energy storage equipment as the controlled quantity, the lighting system optimal scheduling methods, which took the minimum cost, the minimum line loss and the minimum comprehensive index as objectives respectively, were established. The simulation, in which the lighting system for a certain municipal service hall was taken as computing example, was performed and the results of three optimization schedulings were obtained. Comparing with conventional lighting system, by means of carrying out optimization scheduling of distributed energy storage lighting system, up to 28.41% of electricity purchasing cost can be saved and 21.42% of line loss can be reduced.
