Risk Assessment of Distributed Voltage Control System Considering Information Equipment Failure

  • With the continuous development of active distribution networks, the power grid increasingly depends on information system, and the random failure of information equipments brings huge challenge to voltage control of distribution network. To evaluate the affection of information equipment failure on distributed voltage control of distribution network, firstly, the constitution of distributed voltage control system of distributed network, its control mechanism and the principle of consensus algorithm were analyzed. Secondly, the photovoltaic (abbr. PV) power output operation scenario model and the information equipment failure scenario model were established, and then under the distributed voltage control and considering the affection of information equipment failure a voltage evaluation method was proposed and the evaluation index was established and the computing method was given. Finally, by means of the simulation of computing example the affections of the failure of different kinds of information equipments at different locations on the voltage were contrasted and analyzed and the voltage risks were calculated. Simulation results show that the voltage risk caused by hub agent node fault is most serious, thus the communication network should be configured according to the degree of source load imbalance.
