Comprehensive Evaluation on Pumped-Storage Power Station Based on VAE-Matter Element Analysis

  • To build a new type of power system, in which the new energy source is taken as the main body, under the goal of "Dual Carbon", the secure operation of this kind of power grid will face significant challenge, and in such power grid the pumped storage power station will play a key role in ensuring secure and stable operation of the power grid. Therefore, the research on how to evaluate and continuously promote the efficiency of pumped storage power station is of important theoretical and practical significance. For this reason, the variational self-encoder intelligent algorithm was used to empower the competencies appraisal index of pumped storage power station, and by means of matter element analysis method an efficiency evaluation model of pumped storage power station was established, and by use of the established model, the performance comprehensive evaluation and analysis on 42 pumped storage power stations located in different regions of China were conducted and the results of performance comprehensive evaluation were obtained. In the obtained results the ability to organize and manage, the technology integration capability and the social influence are key impacting factors, thus, to realize the steady improvement in efficiency of pumped storage power station, a scientific and reasonable comprehensive evaluation method is provided.
