Analysis on Inter Provincial Transaction Mechanism and Optimization Model Under Grid Connection of High Proportion of Clean Energy

  • With the increasing installed capacity of renewable energy in China, the defect of mismatch between renewable energy output and load geographical distribution has become increasingly prominent and it brings more severe challenges to the accommodation of renewable energy. Traditional trans-provincial and interregional power transaction mechanism is hard to meet the increasing demand of renewable energy accommodation in China. For this reason, an inter provincial transaction framework based on inter provincial electric quantity trading and inter provincial accommodation of surplus renewable energy was put forward, and an inter provincial transaction optimization model was established to support the large-scale accommodation of renewable energy. Results of computing example show that the proposed inter provincial transaction market mechanism and the transaction model are adaptable to the demand of renewable energy accommodation in China, and it can support the improvement of the overall economy and energy cleanliness of power system.
