Photovoltaics-Hydrogen-Electricity Coupling System Planning Considering Traffic Flow Prediction

  • To address problems such as the high cost of hydrogen production and refueling station construction, as well as the uncertainty of hydrogen refueling for hydrogen fuel vehicles, a planning model of photovoltaics-hydrogen-electricity coupling system considering traffic flow prediction was proposed. Firstly, an on-site hydrogen production model including hydrogen production, compression and storage, and injection into a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle through a hydrogen charging device was established. Secondly, a prediction method of traffic flow was proposed to support the modeling and operating of hydrogen production and refueling station systems. Then, taking minimizing the cost as an object, a planning model of a photovoltaics-hydrogen-electricity coupling system considering traffic flow prediction was constructed. Finally, taking the IEEE30 standard as an example and 30 network nodes as an analyzing system, it was found that combining hydrogen production and refueling stations with photovoltaic power stations is beneficial to reducing the system cost. The implementation of the hydrogen production subsidy policy increases the demand for hydrogen by 28% and the number of hydrogen production and refueling stations by 20%. The hydrogen production capacity of electrolytic cells responds quickly to the change in peak-valley time-of-use price. The results show that the proposed model is effective.
