Numerical Simulation of Internal Flow Field and Abrasion Analysis on Desulfurization Slurry Pump

  • The solid liquid two phase flow field of slurry circling pump in wet flue gas desulfurization system in a 600MW power plant was calculated through CFD software Fluent 6.2 adopting Eulerian multiphase flow model, extended standard turbulence model and SIMPLEC arithmetic. The law of particle concentration field, velocity distribution and abrasion characteristics under different solid particle diameters and volumn concentration was given. The purpose of this paper is to provide several instructive suggestions for practical reconstruction and operation of desulfurized slurry pump.
