Application of the New Compound Combined Electrical Equipment in the Standard Design for 110kV Substations of the China Southern Power Grid

  • To ensure the security, stability and economical power supply and developing demand of Southern Power Grid, it is necessary to present standard design mode for 110kV substation. Strategy H for new compound combined electrical equipment that is used in standard design for 110kV substation is introduced, its input conditions (such as construction scale, mode of main electrical connection and shortcircuit current control) is discussed in detail, and the selection of PASS is used as the basis for new compound combined electrical equipment. The characteristic of strategy H is analyzed and compared with AIS and GIS design strategy. Results show that this equipment has higher reliability, less land occupation and lower maintenance work etc., which can meet the requirement of operation security of current power grid.
