Research on Integration of Graphic, Data and Model Based on Open Standards

  • Open and standardized technology is the basis and key approach to improve the integration of different power automation systems. An open and standardized system is designed and constructed with the Common Information Model (CIM) specification of the IEC 61970 standard and Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) which was recommended as the graphics standard by W3C. Batik toolkit and Java components are used to create and operate SVG. The mapping of CIM and relational database is realized by Hibernate framework. The system of integration of graphic, database and model was effectively achieved by SVG, XML and CIM. The result of the research demonstrates that the system has practical significance to data integration, application integration and interoperability.
