Simulation and Analysis on IGHAT System Based on Air Blown Gasifier

  • Integrated Gasification Humid\|Air Turbine Cycle (IGHAT)is a novel coal\|fired power generation technology which integrates HAT system and air\|blown gasifier. IGHAT simulation model was established using Aspen Plus software in order to study the cycle performance and effects of parameters including air\|coal ratio, humidificationor air flow through the compressor on cycle efficiency and turbine inlet temperature. Simulation results show maximum cycle efficiency and turbine inlet temperature can be obtained as the air\|coal ratio increases. Where turbine inlet temperature is determined, cycle efficiency will increase correspondingly. In a certain range, the higher humidification or air flow through the compressor, the lower the efficiency and turbine inlet temperature. Simulation results in this paper are useful to select working parameters of IGHAT system and understand the essence of IGHAT system.
