Ill\|Conditioned Power Flow Approaches Based on ODE Generalized Model

  • In order to solve the problem of ill\|conditioned power flow, a novel calculation model of power flow is introduced in this paper. The power flow problem is formulated as a set of autonomous ordinary differential equations (ODE), and several numerical methods (e.g. Runge\|Kutta formulas) are used to solve ODE. The efficiency and practicability of the new approach are verified by simulation results of UCTE system and three actual domestic power systems. The new model can be built according to clear principle with simple structure. This approach allows the standard Newton\|Raphson method and many robust techniques to be described in a unique framework, which provide a fresh idea for solving power flow.
