Research on Dynamic Economic Dispatch for Grid\|connected Wind Power System

  • The power output of thermal unit is optimized to obtain a short\|term dynamic economic dispatch scheme in grid\|connected wind power system. In the optimization model, such constraints as up spinning reserve and down spinning reserve are introduced to deal with the problem of dynamic economic dispatch influenced by wind power forecast errors. Based on an improved particle swarm optimization algorithm, three improved strategies are proposed. Firstly, “the recycling strategy” and “the prior list strategy” are used to generate feasible solutions, then “the opportunistic stop strategy” is used to obtain the optimized feasible solutions. Results of classical calculation example show that the proposed strategies have good stability, fast searching speed, good optimization result, and efficient searching capability and adaptability.
