Risk Assessment of Static Voltage Stability by Considering Multiple Outage Model of Lines

  • Due to the common mode outages and dependent outages have great impact on system static voltage stability, this paper focuses on the establishment of the equivalent branch outage model for two parallel transmission lines by considering outage overlapping, then computes the state probability of transmission system. Basing on the state probability model of power system, a risk index system of static voltage stability and the calculation method of every index are presented. By the voltage stability criteria based on CPF and optimal load shedding model, the loss of voltage stability of transmission system can be judged and controlled. Taking an area of power grid for east china for example, the risk of static voltage stability is assessed, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed method.
