Abstract
As to the combined operation mode with grid connected wind power and energy storage station, three feasible operation schemes for wind power pumped storage system are proposed to get coordinated control strategy. The scheme I is that all of wind power is transmitted to power grid through pumped storage plants. Scheme II is that small part of wind power is directly transmitted to power grid, while the rest is transmitted to power grid through pumped storage plants. Scheme III is that a large part of wind power is directly transmitted to power grid, the rest is transmitted to power grid through pumped storage plants. From the analysis on operating curve of different classical dates for a wind turbine, it is shown that different operating modes have different influence on coordinated operation control strategies of pumped storage power plant, the effect of pumped storage power station depends on its scale, and the basic principle of coordinated control for combined operating system is given.
