Parameters Determination and Structure Design for Basin Wave\|Maker

  • Basin wave\|maker is employed for wave simulation in laboratory. In order to ensure the performance and effect of wave\|maker, it is indispensable to calculate its main designing parameters. As for the AC servo wave\|maker, which has been the main wave generator at home and abroad nowadays, the working principle of push panel and AC servo motors were briefly introduced in the first place, including various components. Moreover, according to the predetermined ability of wave\|maker, the main designing parameters (the maximum travel and velocity of push panel, the maximum load force and the load power of unit, etc) were calculated respectively through potential function theory. Finally, the whole structure of wave\|maker was designed and the specification of machinery as well as serve driving was determined using previous four main parameters.
