Research on Control Strategy of Grid side Converter for Doubly Fed Wind Power Generation System Based on Single Neuron PI Controller

  • A single neuron PI control algorithm of grid side converter for doubly fed wind power generation system is proposed against its nonlinearity. Grid voltage oriented vector controller combined with the single neuron PI algorithm is used to realize decoupling control of the reactive power and active power of grid side converter, in which the proportional coefficient and integral coefficient of the single neuron PI controller are adjusted adaptively according to the voltage error at DC side of converter. A simulation model of the doubly fed wind power generation system is established with the PSCAD / EMTDC. The simulation results verify that this control strategy has a strong anti disturbance ability and robustness, which not only can achieve fast and stable tracking of the DC bus voltage, but also achieve quick unity power factor control.
