Research on the Specific Paths to Achieve Low carbon Benefits of Smart Grid in China

  • Smart grid has obvious characteristics of low carbon. Research on the specific paths to achieve low carbon benefits of smart grid in China is significant for smart grid to guide the low carbon development of power system. Firstly, the development mode and its support system of smart grid in China are elaborated, and the technique support system of smart grid is mainly studied. Secondly, the definition and connotation of low carbon benefits of smart grid is defined. Then, the paths of smart grid to achieve low carbon benefits are analyzed by considering the connotation of low carbon benefits of smart grid and its technology support system, and the four realization paths based on clean generation, loss reducing, load shaping and energy saving and emission reduction of end user are put forward. On this basis, the general route of smart grid in China to achieve low carbon benefits are given, which provide the reference for the construction and development of smart grid in China.
