Research on Coordinated DC Voltage Control Strategy of DC Microgrid Based on Photovoltaic Generation

  • DC microgrid is an effective way for new energy power generation to access to the utility power grid, and it is becoming a new research direction of microgrid technology due to its obvious advantages. Taking a DC microgrid which consists of PV systems, energy storage system and AC/DC loads as an example, a coordinated DC voltage control strategy is proposed based on the analysis of different operation states of the DC microgrid. According to the DC voltage variation and the state of charge (SOC) of battery, coordinating control of converters is achieved automatically, then the active power of DC microgrid can be balanced to maintain the voltage stability of DC bus. In the end, simulations are carried out in Matlab/Simulink simulation environment, and the validity of the control strategy is verified by the results.
