Abstract
In this paper, a set of general excitation control model for doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) is developed based on RSCAD/CBuilder by using custom programming technology. The model control strategy is determined according to the grid voltage orientation of converter at grid side and the stator flux orientation of converter at rotor side. Based on object-oriented design concept, parameter input dialog box is built on man-machine interactive interface of model. The real-time operation program is compiled with C language and can provide design method for extraction of signal phase and calculation of phase slope. In the end, the versatility and accuracy of the developed model are verified with an example. Results show that the model can be applied to RTDS simulation experiment with various types of DFIG conveniently and can improve modeling efficiency greatly.
