Power Dispatch Schemes of Wind Turbines Considering Input Wind Speed Data Missing

  • When wind speed data of wind turbines is used for optimizing power dispatch scheme, if some speed data of some wind turbines is abnormal or missing, the lost wind speed data can be calculated according to the relationship between wind speed of turbines built by linear regression model. For doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) based wind farm, when wind power curtailment happens, according to the active power order from power dispatching center and the reactive power demand of power grid, a kind of power dispatch model of active and reactive power is built with minimum copper loss of all DFIGs in wind farm as objective function, which is compared with the reactive power allocation scheme based on the proportion of the reactive power limit of each DFIG to that of wind farm in case analysis. In the end, wind farm model is built on PSCAD platform, the effectiveness and advantage of proposed method are verified.
