Research on Optimal Dispatch of a Combined Heat and Power Micro-grid System

  • Based on distributed generation, the combined heat and power micro-grid makes full use of renewable energy sources, solves the unified problem of power and heat demand of users, and realizes the cascade usage of energy. A stochastic technology is proposed to simulate the randomness of wind power and electrical loads, and a multi-objective model of island micro-grid optimal dispatch under the centralized control mode is developed, whose objective functions are to minimize the cost of operation, and maximize the reliability of power supply and the comprehensive benefit. Then a control strategy of micro-grid optimal dispatch under the island mode is presented. Taking a CHP micro-grid system as simulation case, the genetic algorithm is chosen to optimize the micro-source outputs. The results verify the validity of the proposed model and control strategy.
