Multi objective Optimization of Microgrid with Hybrid Energy Storage System

  • As to grid connected and hybrid energy storage system microgrid which is made up of photovoltaic system, redox flow cell and lithium battery, a multi objective optimization method based on weighting factor method and two person zero sum game theory are proposed in this paper. To maximize renewable energy utilization of microgrid and to minimize impulse current caused by grid connecting, a multi objective model with the objectives of minimizing power purchasing cost and tie line power fluctuation of microgrid is presented in this paper. By considering both above objectives, this model can be converted into optimization problem with single objective by weighting factor method based on two person zero sum game theory. A real microgrid is taken as an illustrative example, and the results show that this method can efficiently improve the economy of microgrid and reduce tie line power fluctuation.
