Abstract
In this paper, the environmental benefits of wind power is quantified and the distribution network planning model with environmental benefits is built when considering the wind power planning problems. On the basis, cost-benefit changes of distribution network caused by wind power is analyzed, and the objective is to maximize the net income of power wind. Then, the improved harmony algorithm is put forward to solve this model, which avoids the shortcoming of searching direction in harmony algorithm. Through comparison with the planning scheme without considering the benefit of wind power environment in the example, it is concluded that the quantitative environmental benefit can improve the penetration of wind power in the distribution network. By comparing with the basic harmony algorithm, it is known that the improved harmony algorithm has better convergence performance.
