Improved Generation Rights Trade Model Considering Congestion Management

  • The generation right trade (GRT) can optimize the assets allocation, prompt the energy saving and consumption reducing of the electrical industry, and realize the win win situation for three sides which include buyer, seller and society. GRT shows the change of the generators’ output, and leads to the power flow change of the system. In order to ensure the system security, the congestion management for GRT is quite necessary.Based on the background of GRT, the inadequacy of the traditional models of GRT is pointed out, and it is improved from the algorithm aspect. The power flow of the adaptive congestion lines produced by the different GRTs can be reversed. According to the impact extent of the power flow change of the key branches caused by GRT, it can form the priority of GRT matching pair, and alleviate the power flow on the adaptive congestion line which is prior to others. A new GRT model considering the congestion is established. The example is analyzed. The clearing results and social functions of the traditional and improved models are compared, and the result indicats that the improved model can generate more social functions. The correctness of the model is verified.
