A New Non-isolated Low-ripple Current Input and High-gain DC-DC Converter

  • In order to improve the performance of the DC-DC converter, a new type DC-DC converter with low input current ripple and high voltage gain is proposed. Through using double boost chopper and a reasonable filter capacitance to decrease input current ripple, high voltage gain is achieved by the cooperation between the high-frequency step-up transformer and the vice-edge switch capacitance booster circuit. In this paper, the working principle of proposed DC-DC inverter and comprehensive performance of system are analyzed in detail, and detail design method of system is further given. In the end, a 100 W, 20V/200V prototype has been built to validate the correctness of this theoretical analysis, by which the highest efficiency of 92.5% is obtained.
