Review of Real-time Complementary Active Power Control of Multi-type Power Resources for Large Scale Renewable Energy Grid

  • This paper states real-time multi-resource complementation control requirement for power systems integrated with large-scale renewable energy under market transactions. The main aspects involved in the optimization method of real-time multi-resource complementary active power control are analyzed. This paper proposes to release the power generation and transmission planning elasticity, and calculate the transmission section limitation online to make full use of the power transmission capacity of the power grid. Besides, a real-time multi-resource complementation optimization control framework is given in this paper with taking provincial and regional two-level dispatching as an example. This framework emphasizes maximizing the consumption of renewable energy and minimizing the cost from other power resources adjustments, and addresses the requirements of economic, security and “justice, openness and fairness” dispatching.
