Optimal Scheduling of Regional Integrated Energy System Based on Different Working Modes of Electric Boiler with Thermal Storage

  • The optimal scheduling method of regional integrated energy system based on different working modes of electric boiler with thermal storage is studied in view of the current research in this area in which the influence of the different operating modes of equipment on the system is not considered. Aiming at the system minimum operating cost considering equipment maintenance cost and the renewable energy generation income, adopting the time sharing price system, the optimal scheduling model of the regional integrated energy systems based on the electric boiler with thermal storage is established. The YALMIP toolbox and the commercial software CPLEX are used in MATLAB to find out the output and the total operating costs of each unit under different working modes of the electric boiler with thermal storage in the system. The simulation results show that the regional integrated energy system containing the thermal storage boiler can improve the economy and flexibility of the system by changing the working mode of the thermal storage boiler. The feasibility and rationality of the proposed model and method are verified.
