Correction Bidding Model for Distribution Day-ahead Market with Multi-Microgrid System

  • With the advancement of electricity market reform, the competition of multi-microgrid system and conventional power generator in the distribution market has become a trend. For this reason, the paper designs market interaction structure based on multi-agent systems theory. A bi-level bidding model under the interactive mode is built with participations of multi-microgrid system agent and conventional power generator agent. The lower-level clearing model takes into account environmental factors by quantifying carbon emissions as a part of overall cost. The upper-level information-corrected model optimizes the bidding strategies of generator agents through information generated by multiple rounds of interaction, such as electricity price, the quantity of electricity, and carbon emissions. The bidding behaviors of generator agents in four different scenarios are simulated in an example. The result shows that this bi-level bidding model can stimulate market vitality and enhance the competitiveness of multi-microgrid system and low-emission unit.
