Abstract:
Under the background of smart grid, the large-scale popularization of smart terminals and smart appliances has led to a substantial increase in household electricity consumption. To cope with the increasing power load peak year by year and relieve the pressure of tight power supply, it is of great significance for the operation and development of power grid to reasonably utilize a large number of controllable load resources on the user side to participate in demand response. A priority control strategy of residents' controllable load based on smart home energy management system (SHEMS) integrated with time-of-use price was proposed to control multiple types of such controllable loads as air conditioning, water heater, electric vehicle, washing machine, dishwasher in the family, and the influence of time-of-use price was considered in the "valley filling" control. Simulation results show that the proposed control strategy can improve the load curve of power grid, realize peak load shifting and valley filling, and further save electricity cost for users while meeting the power consumption comfort of users, thus, the effectiveness of the proposed method was verified.
