Study on Inertia Control Mode of Doubly Fed Induction Generator Based on Virtual Inertia

摘要: 基于电力电子变流器控制的双馈风电机组对于电力系统转动惯量几乎没有贡献,这将使系统频率的调节变得困难,使风电机组具有惯性响应功能成为研究中的一个热点。在分析双馈感应发电机基本控制策略的基础上,提出了双馈发电机可控虚拟惯量的概念,并对其表达式进行了理论推导。在详细阐述附加功率外环和追踪曲线切换两种惯性控制策略后,指出了其中蕴含的虚拟惯量控制机制,并说明了在实际当中如何应用。最后,通过仿真分析证明了双馈风电机组可表现出不同于同步发电机固有惯性的可控虚拟惯性。Abstract: There is almost no contribution to system inertia by doubly fed induction generators that are controlled by power electronic converter, which makes system frequency control very difficult. So the study on inertia response function of DFIG is a hot topic in wind power generation at present. A concept of controllable virtual inertia for DFIG is proposed by analyzing basic control schemes of DFIG, and its representation is deduced theoretically. After the inertia control strategies of additional power outer loop and tracing curves switching are described in detail, the control mechanism of virtual inertia is revealed, and its real application is also explained. In the end, the simulation results verify that DFIG will provide the power system with controllable virtual inertia, which is different from the natural inertia of synchronous machine.
