Effect of Equipment Faults on Over-voltage Protection Parameters of Multiple Series Compensation Devices in the Same Substation

  • 摘要: 在进行串补过电压保护设备参数设计时,一般只考虑不同的系统运行工况、不同的故障类型及故障时刻等系统因素,而很少考虑串补设备故障的影响,但在实际运行中串补设备故障的工况是存在的,而且对串补设备参数有直接影响。本文以南方电网百色串补站3套串补装置为例,利用最新电网数据及3套串补的设备参数和过电压保护配置,建立串补设备检修、保护误动及拒动等特殊工况模型,研究了在串补间隙误触发、拒触发、串补检修退出3种设备故障工况下,同一变电站多套串补之间参数的相互影响,并进行仿真分析。研究表明在进行串补主设备参数设计时,应适当考虑一套串补设备故障对其他串补过电压保护装置参数的影响。

     

    Abstract: In general, only such system factors as different system operation conditions, different fault types and fault time are considered when over-voltage protection parameters for series compensation (SC) devices are designed, while the influence of SC device fault is seldom considered. But in fact, the cases of SC device faults exist in practical operation, which directly influence the SC device parameters. In this paper, by using the current data of China Southern Grid and parameters of three sets of series compensation (SC) devices in Baise substation and their protection configurations, the models of overhaul of SC and false action of over-voltage protection are established. The interaction influence between parameters of SC devices in the same substation are studied in such operation conditions as false trigger and refusing trigger of GAP, and SC device out of service. Study results show that it is reasonable to consider the effect of a set of SC faults on parameters of other SC over-voltage protection devices when carrying out SC basic design.
