Coupling Characteristic Analysis of High Frequency Electromagnetic Field on Spiral Inductor

  • 摘要: 螺旋电感在射频电路中占有很重要的位置, 传统螺旋电感一般采用集总参数等效电路模型进行分析, 而且由于螺旋电感具有高频频变特性, 其耦合特性一般不会包含在高频电子器件手册中。针对此问题, 以研究其电磁耦合特性为目的, 采用有限元软件对螺旋电感进行有限元建模, 并对其高频电磁场耦合特性进行仿真分析, 得到了螺旋电感的一系列电磁场耦合特性。采用电磁场理论和有限元软件HFSS对螺旋电感进行分析能很好地反映出电感随频率的变化特性, 适用于射频集成电路的设计。

     

    Abstract: Spiral inductors plays an important role in RF circuits, conventional spiral inductors can be analyzed by equivalent circuit model of lumped parameter, and due to high frequency characteristics, its electromagnetic coupling characteristics is generally not given in high frequency electronic device manual. As to this problem, with the purpose of studying the electromagnetic coupling characteristics of spiral inductors, the model of spiral inductor is built by Finite Element Method, and its high frequency electromagnetic field coupling characteristics is analyzed by simulation to obtain a series of electromagnetic field coupling features of spiral inductor. The analysis of spiral inductor by using of electromagnetic field theory and finite element method software HFSS can reflect variation characteristics of inductor influenced by frequency, which can be applied to the design of RFIC.
